I’ve been inspired to blog my natural hair journey, my hair is very fine and soft and the root has a tight curl pattern and then the ends would curl and fall making my hair look dry and frizzy, I have been natural since 2009. Because of the love hate relationship with my fro I decided to do Sisterlocks on March 13, 2011. I researched and did five consults before I decided to go ahead with the installation. I’m very pleased with the outcome and wished I would have done it sooner. It took a total of 2 days and 15 hours but I have to say I love them so much and I’m very happy. I can’t wait until they completely fill out and start growing so I can style them; I love the versatile looks I see on other people.
